About The Artist

Hello and Welcome to a Scrappy Dog.  My name is Pat Maloney and THE Scrappy Dog is my boxer Zoe.  She is my running partner and the inspiration for the name of my Business

I began scrapping in 2003 when my oldest daughter started competing in scottish highland dance.  Then I decided to get the baby pictures out of the box and record her childhood, along with her little sister's (by this time most of our photos were stored on cd's  and while I love my digital camera, this is not the best way to view the memories of your life).  That's when the addiction of scrapbooking took over.

I have a degree in interior design and for many years I was known as faux finish stencil artist to my friends and Family.  I heard many times that I should start a business but honestly I didn't think my body could take the constant strain it requires.  When I found the art of scrapping I knew it was a way to use my creativity without breaking my back.  So, I ventured into the business world after 11 years as a stay-at-home mom.  Frightening but exciting.

I strive to create small works of art where the photos of you and your loved ones are the focus, not the pages themselves.  Please enjoy perusing the website as this is the best way to judge the artist.  Keep in mind the pre-made scrapbooks make wonderful gifts.
